Asadar, cei de la Adobe vor sa isi concentreze eforturile asupra aplicatiilor pentru sistemele desktop, dar si in dezvoltarea standardului HTML 5, acestia considerand aceasta tehnologie ca fiind cea mai potrivita pentru crearea continutului inclus in browserele de pe platformele mobile.
Cu toate acestea, Adobe mai spune ca sfarsitul pluginului nu a venit inca, compania asigurand in continuare actualizari de securitate si repararea bug-urilor. Cu siguranta aceasta miscare reprezinta o mare problema pentru platforma Android, pentru care prezenta pluginului Adobe Flash este considerata unul dintre cele mai mari avantaje fata de iOS.
