Evenimentul va fi organizat impreuna cu producatorul LG care la randul sau va lansa viitorul smartphone din seria Nexus (device bazat pe LG Optimus G). Android 4.2 va veni cu cateva imbunatatiri pentru Android 4.1 Jelly Bean (pentru Project Butter, Google Now, sistemul de notificari), in timp ce Lg Optimus G a fost anuntat pe data de 19 septembrie 2012 si aduce un display de 4.7" True HD-IPS + cu o rezolutie de 768 x 1280 (720p) si un puternic procesor KRAIT quad core de la Qualcomm plus Adreno 320, 2gb memorie ram si 32 gb memorie interna.
