iar versiunea de preview a fost retrasa. Totusi, Microsoft le da posibilitatea tuturor utilizatorilor care nu au incercat Windows 8.1, dar vor sa o faca, sa descarce gratuit si sa instaleze versiunea de incercare de 90 de zile (trei luni) pentru Windows 8.1 Enterprise.

Versiunea de incercare pentru Windows 8.1 RTM Enterprise nu necesita un cod de licenta pentru a putea fi instalata, iar dupa ce perioada de incercare va expira, background-ul calculatorului pe care este instalat va deveni negru, in coltul din dreapta jos al ecranului fiind afisat un watermark ce va indica ca sistemul de operare nu este genuine, totodata computerul restartandu-se la fiecare 60 de minute.

P.S: Diferenta dintre Windows 8.1 si Windows 8.1 Enterprise este aceea ca editia Enterprise vine la pachet cu cateva optiuni in plus (Windows To Go Creator, Start Screen Control, Direct Acces, App locker, Assigned Access, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) si Windows Enterprise Slide-Loading).
