Pe la inceputul lunii octombrie a anului curent, Facebook testa o noua functie prin intermediul careia utilizatorii isi puteau schimba fotografia de profil cu un video de profil, iar aceasta era denumita simplu: Profile Video. Pe atunci functia era disponibila doar pentru cativa utilizatori din Marea Britanie si California. De cateva zile, fiecare utilizator al retelei de socializare beneficiaza de noua functie. Filmuletul de profil trebuie sa aibe maxim 7 secunde si poate fi urcat doar de pe mobil.
