Xiaomi has announced the release of its new laptops, the Redmi Book 14 and 16 2025 models, which will highlight their long-lasting battery and high performance. As the model numbers suggest, the two models will be available in 14-inch and 16-inch sizes.

The specifications feature the Intel Core i5 220H (Raptor Lake) processor, known for efficiently managing multitasking and integrated Intel Graphics at 1.5 GHz. It will also use LPDRR5X memory, combining fast processing with energy efficiency.

According to Xiaomi, the battery life — supported by artificial intelligence — will last up to 19 continuous hours. Of course, this will depend on what users are doing (gaming, heavy bandwidth usage, connected devices, and various other factors can influence this).

In addition to the differences in display, the company will offer the new laptop in three configurations:

  • 16 GB of RAM and 512GB of storage
  • 16 GB of RAM and 1TB of storage
  • 32 GB of RAM and 1TB of storage

The more affordable Xiaomi Redmi Book 14 2025 will be sold for 4,599 Chinese yuan (approximately R$ 3,900 in direct conversion, excluding taxes or fees), while the 16-inch model will be priced at 4,799 Chinese yuan (slightly more than R$ 4,000 in direct conversion, excluding taxes or fees).

New Xiaomi Redmi Book 14 and 16 Laptops 2025 Xiaomi also revealed that the 2025 Redmi Book laptops will feature two fans and 8mm heat sinks to assist with cooling the device and preventing overheating.

The company also mentioned that the display will support a 120Hz refresh rate, covering 100% of the sRGB color gamut, and offering 400 nits of brightness. The 14-inch model reaches a 2.8K resolution, while the 16-inch model offers 2.5K resolution.

In terms of structure, the Xiaomi Redmi Book 16 2025 is fully metal-coated and weighs 1.65kg, with a thickness of 15.9mm. The Redmi Book 14 2025 is lighter at 1.36kg but retains the 15.9mm thickness.

The laptop will run Xiaomi HyperOS 2 and allow integration with the HyperConnect ecosystem, providing access to other devices such as smartphones and tablets from the same line. It is the first model to automatically connect to the company’s SU7 vehicles, offering greater convenience to users.
