Presedintele Sony Computer Entertainment, Kaz Hirai a confirmat oficial in timpul unui discurs la Tokyo Game Show, ca Sony se pregateste sa lanseze un noul controller Sixaxis care a suportat cateva imbunatatiri.

Noul controller DualShock3 va fi disponibil in Japonia in luna noiembrie a acetui an si va putea fi cumparat in Europa si America incepand cu primavara lui 2008.
