Nu mai e un secret pentru nimeni faptul ca Facebook incearca sa castige teren pe partea de video-uri in fata lui YouTube. Ultima idee cu care Facebook spera sa mai castige ceva teren este impulsionarea publisherilor in a crea continut video prin impartirea incasarilor din publicitate (55% se vor duce catre parteneri si 45% vor ramane la Facebook).

Pentru inceput doar anumiti publisheri vor avea posibilitatea sa castige bani din publicitate, insa in viitorul nu foarte indepartat optiunea va fi disponibila la scara larga.

Facebook soon will add something else to “suggested videos”: in-line autoplay ads that appear between the clips. Facebook will keep 45% of the revenue from those ads, divvying up the other 55% with partners whose videos are viewed in the suggested-video window based on time users spend viewing each clip. YouTube’s standard ad rev-share terms for most partners also is on a 45/55 split.
