In urma cu ceva timp, Seagate isi anunta intentia de a construi un hard-disk cu o capacitate de 1TB.

HDD-ul ar trebui sa fie pe piata pana la sfarsitul luni aprilie, conform oficialilor Seagate care sustin ca se afla in grafic cu noul produs.

Noul HDD va fi construit cel mai probabil cu o interfata SATA 2 si 16MB buffer. In momentul de fata singurul harddisk de 1TB de pe piata este Deskstar 7K1000, produs de Hitachi.
