iOS 16 impreuna cu watchOS 9 au fost prezentate in aceasta vara, iar data disponibilitatii acestuia la nivel global a fost anuntata recent: 12 septembrie 2022. Asadar, de luni veti putea face actualizarea la cea mai noua versiune de software pentru telefoanele si ceasurile din dotare. Sistemul de operare pentru tablete nu este gata inca, Apple sustinand ca mai au de lucru cu functia Stage Manager, astfel ca va fi disponibil in viitorul nu foarte indepartat, dar nu pe 12/09.

Daca pana nu demult atunci cand auzeam de sistemele de operare Apple, stiam din start ca poate fi vorba de macOS sau iOS, odata cu trecerea anilor si evolutia tehnologica software-ul s-a mai schimbat/divizat. Astfel in zilele noastre, portofoliul Apple in ceea ce priveste sistemele de operare arata asa: pentru Computere: macOS/macOS X - evolutie de la System 1,2,3,4, System Software 5 si 6 si System 7 - ultima versiune a acestui sistem de operare in momentul scrierii articolului este 12: macOS Monterey. pentru telefoane mobile (iPhone) si iPod-uri: iOS - iOS s-a numit mereu, iOS se numeste si in prezent, iar cea mai noua versiune este iOS 16. pentru tablete (iPad): iPadOS - din 2019 de cand sistemul de operare a fost prezentat. Pana atunci se folosea tot iOS si pentru tabletele marca Apple. pentru ceasuri (Apple Watch): watchOS - ultima versiune este 9. pentru mediaplayere (AppleTV): tvOS - evolutie de la Apple TV Software 1-7.

Smartphone-urile din zilele noastre accepta cel putin una dintre variantele de deblocare mentionate in chestionar, si chiar mai mult decat atat, pot fi activate doua optiuni care sa functioneze in paralel, ca de exemplu amprenta + PIN, astfel ca daca te afli in imposibiliatea de a-ti scana amprenta poti debloca telefonul utilizand PIN-ul setat. Haideti sa vedem, voi ce tip de deblocare al smartphone-ului considerati ca este cel mai eficient? Puteti selecta mai multe optiuni si chiar mentiona alegerea facuta. P.S: Eu am votat amprenta + PIN. Mi se pare cea mai potrivita optiune pentru mine.

Salutari, am vazut la multa lume ca atunci cand le suna telefonul (s-ar putea si cand primesc mesaje), fie ca este pe Android (de obicei Samsung) fie ca este iOS, li se aprinde si blitul, intermitent. Este o aplicatie care face chestia asta sau este o setare din telefon? Intreb mai mult de curiozitate, nu mi se pare chiar ceva interesant, dar nu stiu cum se poate face. Multumesc!

Ever since Microsoft first unveiled Cortana as part of Windows Phone 8.1, there's been speculation that the company might bring its digital 'personal assistant' to other operating systems. Indeed, it has seemed almost inevitable, given Microsoft's growing focus on making its products and services available across multiple platforms. In November, Microsoft's chief experience officer and former head of Windows, Julie Larson-Green, was asked directly if Cortana might make the move to non-MS platforms. Her response: "The short answer is, yeah." So it should come as no great surprise to hear that Microsoft is indeed planning to bring Cortana to rival operating systems, as Reuters reports. While Cortana will remain a tightly integrated component in Windows on PCs, phones and other devices, the company is planning to making the assistant available as a standalone app on Android and iOS. The effort to extend Cortana's reach across multiple platforms is being developed with knowledge from 'Project Einstein', a Microsoft research project focusing on artificial intelligence. More than simply bringing access to its assistant to other app stores, Microsoft has been working on a 'more advanced' version of Cortana as part of its cross-platform efforts, using the AI research from Einstein. Eric Horvitz, managing director of Microsoft Research, and part of the Einstein team said: "This kind of technology, which can read and understand email, will play a central role in the next roll out of Cortana, which we are working on now for the fall time frame." The aim is to build on Cortana's existing feature set - and particularly the 'personal assistant' elements, such as diary management, recommended leisure activities, and proactive traffic and public transit updates. While Siri is well versed at responding to basic requests, and Google Now surfaces 'cards' of information that it believes will be helpful to the user, Microsoft intends to extend the personal assistant functionality much further, developing an even more capable Cortana that can reliably anticipate a user's needs - on any platform. Horvitz explained: "We're defining the competitive landscape... of who can provide the most supportive services that make life easier, keep track of things, that complement human memory in a way that helps us get things done." But in order to build this platform, Microsoft needs more data, more users, more availability. While Windows 10 will extend the reach of Cortana considerably when it launches later this year, Microsoft wants to put its assistant into the hands of as many people as possible. The more people using the assistant, the more data its machine learning platform can gather to help improve the system even further for everyone. Even so, the decision to make Cortana available on other platforms is unlikely to go down well with many Windows users, as some believe that Microsoft should keep such features exclusive to its own operating systems. Asa cum am scris si in titlu, m-ar interesa sa stiu daca se poate aduce pe un telefon cu Android, prin intermediul unei aplicatii sau a altei optiuni design-ul pe care-l are iOS 7 (ma refer la launcher si screen locker). Ma poate lamuri cineva? Multumesc!

V-am prezentat sa formatati un dispozitiv cu Android. Daca doriti sa faceti acelasi lucru pe un dispozitiv cu iOS (iPhone si iPad), atunci tot ce trebuie sa faceti este sa accesati meniul de configurare al dispozitivului iOS intitulat Settings -> General -> Reset. De aici, ar trebui sa va intereseze functia Erase all Content and Settings, daca doriti sa readuceti terminalul la setarile din fabrica, cu aplicatiile din fabrica. Dupa ce confirmati alegerea, dispozitivul se va restarta si va incepe sa se incarce o bara. Cateva minute mai tarziu, iDevice-ul va fi perfect functional. Numai bine !

Cu cateva zile in urma, cei de la Apple au facut public topul celor mai bune aplicații si jocuri iOS ale acestui an, ce este pe sfarsite. In topul Best of 2012 din App Store avem subcategoriile Cele Mai Bune Apicatii/Jocuri Gratuite, Platite si Vandute si Cel Mai Bun Joc/Aplicatie din 2012 de pe iPhone si iPad.
