Acesta vine cu un design nou, mai simplu si mai eficient, oferind compatiblitate WebGL 3D si HTML 5. Firefox 4 este disponibil catre download in 80 limbi si ruleaza pe Windows, OSX, Linux, si, in curand, pe Android. Cei de la Mozilla ne mai spun ca noul browser este mai rapid decat versiunile anterioare cu pana la 6 ori ! Foarte interesant de precizat ar mai fi si faptul ca: de acum, exista si tab-uri pentru aplicatii (App Tabs)va veti putea grupa aplicatiile (Panorama)s-au adaugat 2 noi facilitati, si anume: Do Not Track si Content si Security Policy, ce permit utilizatorilor sa-si protejeze mai bine datele personale.Firefox Sync permite sincronizarea bookmark-urilor, tab-urilor, parolelor si a istoricului de download intre mai multe calculatoare si dispozitive mobile.
