Cei de la Rockstar se pare ca si-au amintit de dezvoltarea lui Max Payne 3, despre care nu a mai comunicat nimic de cateva luni bune. Acestia au anuntat ca jocul va aparea in luna martie 2012 pe PC, PlayStation 3 si Xbox 360. In noul Max Payne veti juca cu o versiune mai moderna a lui Max, care va va arunca din nou intr-o poveste sumbra si plina de neprevazut. Bantuit in continuare de fantomele trecutului sau, Max isi incepe noua viata in calitate de agent de paza si protectie pentru o familie bogata din Sao Paulo. Jocul va rula pe Rockstar Advanced Game Engine si va oferi un gameplay imbunatatit in raport cu episoadele trecute: faimosul bullet time va fi completat de sistem de acoperire inteligent si va aparea modul multiplayer.
