Stiti cumva care-i problema ?

I uninstalled iTunes 8. I installed and tried 7.7.1 - saw the iPhone, but I always got errors on restoring. So restore never actually completed. Not good and I seemed to be now stuck in DFU mode and/or restore mode (sometimes I got the black screen, sometimes the cable and disc) Then tried 7.5 - saw the phone, but as mentioned above, by now phone was stuck in a sort of 'restore' sort of 'DFU' mode and I could not get it back to 'normal' nor get it to a true 'DFU' mode. So restore would seem to work, but after the restore I always got an unknown error. So then I found that ZiPhone 3 could force the phone into a 'good' DFU mode. Finally I got a good DFU restore to 1.1.4 My tips: 1) Keep uninstalling Apple Mobile Devices and iTunes, and installing versions, until you find a version that recognizes your iPhone is connected. 2) If your iPhone is, or is not, in a 'good' mode for restoring firmware try iLiberty+ and/or ZiPhone 3 and use their 'extras' options to force your iPhone into DFU mode (you may have to use their other options first, like 'Normal' and/or 'Restore' modes - I did) Now I can contact Apple about replacing my iPhone due to the vertical gray line that has appeared in the touch screen above the LCD.
