gaby Posted February 10, 2015 Report Share Posted February 10, 2015 De vreo 2 zile am observat ca gadget-ul de vreme din Windows 7 nu mai functioneaza, afisand mesajul "Cannot connect to service". Initial am crezut ca sunt ceva probleme cu serverele Microsoft, intrucat nu am facut vreo modificare care sa afecteze in vreun fel gadget-urile, dar dupa 2 zile de nefunctionare mi-am zis ca totusi e cam mult si am inceput sa cercetez putin problema. Bineinteles, am descoperit cazuri similare, tot felul de solutii, precum si mesajul de pe pagina cu gadget-uri a celor de la Microsoft: Gadgets have been discontinued Gadgets are no longer available on our website because the Windows Sidebar platform in Windows 7 and Windows Vista has serious vulnerabilities. Totusi, am inteles ca mai sunt utilizatori carora le functioneaza Weather Gadget-ul din Windows 7, iar cea mai populara solutie gasita este inlocuirea folderelor Services (%localappdata%MicrosoftWindows LiveServices) si Windows Sidebar (%localappdata%MicrosoftWindows Sidebar) de pe calculatorul unde nu mai functioneaza gadget-urile cu unele de pe un calculator unde functioneaza. Chiar si asa, dupa un restart gadget-urile ce necesita o conexiune la Internet (Weather si Curency) vor afisa in continuare mesajul "Cannot connect to service".
