Sper ca acesta va fi un articol interesant, pentru ca inca exista multi utilizatori care nu stiu ca Windows XP / Windows Vista / Windows 7 pe 32 de biti nu suporta/recunoaste/foloseste decat 3 GB RAM din sistemul lor (adica, daca eu am Windows XP pe 32 de biti, si am 4/8/12/etc. GB de RAM, Windows-ul nu va recunoaste si folosi decat 3 GB RAM), in timp ce Windows XP / Windows Vista / Windows 7 pe 64 de biti suporta pana la 192 GB RAM.

Mentionez doar ca exista un patch care foloseste PAE, si permite windows XP pe 32biti sa suporte pana la 32 de gb, sau cv de genu.

Ah da, patchul nu esti oficial, ci facut de alte persoane, microsoft neputand sal foloseasca din pricina unor probleme de natura legala.

nush prea multe, wikipedia are multe detalii..

Practic este un patch pt kernel , si se creaza o "matrice" in procesor cu diferitele grupuri din adresa, astfel un singur program poate folosi maxim 3gb rami, dar per total se pot folosi mai multi rami.. nush exact, nu mam prea interesat in detalii..
